Paver Sealing

Why Lake County Homeowners Choose Pavers

Florida sun, rain, and humidity are hard on pavers. Over time, colors fade, joint sand washes out, and weeds and stains creep in. Professional sealing protects against all of it and keeps your hardscape looking freshly installed.

We clean, re-sand, and seal driveways, patios, and pool decks — whether we installed them or not. The result: richer color, stabilized joints, and a surface that's far easier to keep clean.

The Difference

What You Get With Paver Sealing

Protects Color & Surface

Sealing guards against UV fading and staining, keeping your pavers vibrant for years longer.

Stabilizes Joint Sand

Locked-in joint sand resists washout, weed growth, and ant hills between your pavers.

Easier to Clean

Sealed surfaces shed dirt and spills, so routine maintenance becomes a quick rinse.

Questions

Frequently Asked

How often should pavers be sealed in Florida?

In Florida's climate — with intense UV, heavy rain, and high humidity — pavers should be resealed every 2 to 3 years. Driveways and high-traffic areas may benefit from every 2 years; shaded patios can stretch to 3. TOTAL Brick Pavers assesses your pavers' condition and recommends an honest schedule, not one that maximizes service calls.

Can you seal pavers that another company installed?

Yes. TOTAL Brick Pavers seals pavers regardless of who installed them. We pressure clean first to remove dirt, stains, and old sealant, then re-sand the joints and apply the appropriate sealer for your surface type. The result is the same quality finish as if we'd installed the pavers ourselves.

What does paver sealing actually do?

Sealing does four things: it locks in color so UV fading slows dramatically; it stabilizes joint sand so it doesn't wash out or attract weeds and ants; it creates a surface barrier against oil, rust, and organic stains; and it makes routine cleaning far easier. For Florida pavers, it's the single best maintenance investment you can make.

Does sealing make pavers slippery around a pool?

Not when the right sealer is used. We apply non-slip formulas around pool decks and wet areas that enhance traction rather than reduce it. We do not use high-gloss wet-look sealers in those zones unless the client specifically requests it and understands the trade-off.
